Works well with user modifications

The screen fit well over my 9 ft. umbrella. First I placed the entire circular screen over the closed umbrella. I then fully opened the umbrella, lifted up the top portion of the screen, stood on a stepladder, and draped it over the top edge of the umbrella as I spun it around until fully hanging. I filled the 8 small sandbags and attached them to the Velcro strips at the base. After a light breeze began within a few minutes, however, the bags (and the attached sides) blew in all directions basically collapsing the tent walls. The supplied bags are not large (and therefore heavy) enough to secure the bottom. This is a design flaw. (The manufacturer should have supplied larger bags for greater weight). To correct this issue, I punched grommet holes around the tent base and used metal stakes to secure the net to my lawn. This solved the wind problem and created a stable structure. I am now satisfied with the product. If you plan to use it on a deck, I would recommend placing some type of heavier weight around the base.

Great Price

This is just what I wanted to keep the bugs out. It is roomier than the ones that come straight down from the umbrella. I would have liked it to have more than one set of magnets at the top to make it easier to set up. Also, I have not added the weight bags at the bottom as I have not found something to put in them.

Keeps the bees out

It just wraps around your umbrella, zips up and you lock the bugs out! Very easy to put up. When you are inside the netting you can see right through it as if it isn't there. We used it this Fall when the bees usually ruin our outside meals and it worked great. It is important to measure your umbrella when you are choosing the size. We have a round umbrella over a rectangular table and it works fine.

This item got kind of a low rating ONLY because the one magnet could not support the entire net.. I did a make shift by adding clips to hold it in place but it’s is roomy and does keep the bugs out .. I really like it

Not good in light wind

The pockets that can be filled with rocks or sand, are very small, it’s not enough weight to keep it from blowing around in a light wind.

This would make a perfect "Punked" product

If you are looking for frustration, try putting this thing where you want it to go. If you are looking for laughs, buy it for someone and watch them try to put it together. We started with the first, progressed to the second and then threw it back in the box for return. (Return was very painless, very unlike construction of this Screen)
