do the trick
The main take-away is that these canopy weights do the trick. We have a canopy that my husband put over the grill to protect him should it be raining when he is out there. The original canopy would blow away with strong winds. He purchased a set of these weights a while ago and they did the trick holding the canopy in place. It seems 1 of the weights had a slash (which could have been our doing, though we are not sure what happened), so I ordered a second set. As for water resistance - it is hard to judge, since this is outside and when it rains, it would need to be waterproof to really make any difference (which is the only reason it received a "4" rather than a "5" in rating). Either way, they are very helpful in keeping the canopy in place.

Better late than never I guess
Somehow these got lost for nearly a week on the hour drive between my house and the warehouse they came from, but whatever. They're a darn sight better looking and far more efficient (so far anyway) than the orange buckets of pea gravel that I had canopy legs in last summer, and I didn't even have to buy more gravel to fill these. My canopy has 6 legs so I bought two sets and just put 4 bags on the center poles front and back. Had a few good gusts so far this spring with no issues.

The canopy solved our problem with leaves, acorns and pollen from our oak trees into our new spa. Exceeded my expectations on wind durability.

Heavy duty
Holds sand with no leaks, and thick material. My only complaint is the velcro tabs for attaching are too short. They need to be a couple inches longer

Quality Sand Bags
I got these bags to put on the bottom of my chairs so the wind doesn’t blow them over. They work perfect! These bags are thick and they velcro shut tight! Sand doesn’t leak out and rain doesn’t creep in! I picked the right ones! So glad to have them. They will likely last a long time!

Easy to install.
If anyone has a gazebo in a windy area, I advise getting these sandbags and problem solved. They work excellent, plus is easy to install. I live by the beach, so I just went and got sand to put in them, and now my gazebo is secured in my backyard.

Perfect!!
Bought these to help weigh down my gazebo after it became airborne lol. These work perfect. I've filled mine with bottled water. They are so easy to just remove the bottles leaving the bags attached while the gazebo is moved position, then just place the bottles back in again. Very good quality especially for the price I paid.

look good and easy to fill. I guess they will do the job they are designed for. But that is where the fun ends I'm afraid. I filled mine with small stones (as that was what I had handy). I have only used two so far as I was just holding down a gazebo temporarily while treating it. The first issue was the velcro straps essential to hold the bags onto the gazebo legs. Not really long enough in my opinion. But they are just about long enough to reach around a standard garden gazebo leg. The real issue is the first time the got used (for about two hours) while moving the gazebo around a bit so I could get to all of if it the bags gat dragged a bit on the patio (talking no more than a foot in one direction). These 'industrial grade' bags both now have holes in them with this small bit of friction. I would imagine any sort of movement on a windy day would wear them through completely...

Perfect for hard standing gazebos and marquees
I used these for a 6m x 3m marquee on hard standing at a biker rally. They worked great. I filled 2 litre pop bottles with water and they fit perfectly in the weight bags. You can fit 2 bottles per weight bag and if u needed to you could strap 2 bags to each leg but I only used 1 per leg. When finished you can empty the bottles out and save for the next use without carrying all the weight back and forth to events. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant gazebo weight
I bought this bags because the ones that came with my gazebo were really flimsy. These bags are well made, filled them all with builder sand and there is no leak and all the stitching are still intact after use.

good material but
They feel well made and sturdy but they were advertised as being ok to hold water. When I filled them from the hose the water leaked out in the space of an hour. Ended up putting some spare bricks in them instead which did the job at least.
