Product works great but feel Quality Control could be improved on
As a happy buyer of the 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 sizes from Golden State, I was surprised when I received these in a dented box. They came inside of a larger box by amazon with no signs of damage to it which means these were shipped already damaged. I opened the box to find the frames were unharmed from the visible external damage to the package. Upon unpacking, I noticed a corner of an open frame cover piece (side that has window for the photo) was damaged which renders it unusable. On a backing piece, there was a signs of a liquid spilled on it (side that is visible to customer) which renders it unusable as well (Note that this is plastic wrapped so this means it was either a defect when it left manufacturing or happened during the wrap process). Unfortunately I didn't check the entire set out prior to assembling a few photos together (that is my fault). That said, I am very satisfied with the overall product as they work great for displaying my photography for customers to purchase. I do feel the pricing is a bit high (that is also probably due to only having 9 usable frames our of 10) but do appreciate the quality of the product.

Almost perfect!
I love them, the only thing I would fix would be that it should come with some sort of picture stopper so it doesn’t slip around. Besides that it’s got a nice thickness and a nice cold white temperature

Just acceptable...
Having been a picture framer for 20 plus years, I just want to clarify for others that these are not conservation quality mats, nor backing boards--in fact I'm not even sure the really thin backings are "acid-free", which is a fancy term for "having a buffered to neutral pH". These are fine as long as you aren't matting valuable artwork, but they are thinner than mat boards I worked with professionally, and the bevels are really not THAT white, as with other "acid-free" white cores. For the price, they're not bad, but I certainly wouldn't call them a great value. Hope this helps someone...

Love Love Love!
I’ve been using these mats for years. Each time, they’ve been consistently great. They are sturdy, well cut, and are sturdy and crisp in color. My photographs look professional and clean every time. Golden State does a fantastic job every time!

Arrived late but Good quality
Arrived a day late while I was working on a rushed print order so I can’t give 5 stars, but the quality was perfect for what I needed. Well packaged and exactly what I was hoping to receive. My customer was pleased as well!

pretty good....
the mats and backers are great as is the price, the bags are a little flimsy though. not sure how one could get plastic that clear if it were thicker, though. great when prepping for a show.

Not as described.
The mats I received have an opening of 11.5" x 17.5", not 12.5" x 18.5" as per the description. unfortunately you lose a lot of the 13" x 19" photo.
